How it works — and what to expect from the process.
I like to make things simple and clear from the start and throughout, so I know we are always on the same page.
HOW IT WORKS
The Process
There are 5 stages to the design process and each will be shorter or longer depending on the project needs and requirements, however, I will always give you an estimated timeframe before the project begins.
Discovery
Whatever website package you pick, we start with a deep dive into your business in order to create a website that truly represents your brand ethos and captivates your audience from the get-go. The discovery session allows us to find clarity in your website messaging and strategy so it is built to convert and engage your ideal customers by appealing to their values, beliefs and ideals.
Brand Design
Following on from our research and discovery we move onto your branding to ensure it is developed in alignment with your strategy. I offer an essential branding kit that will give you everything you need for a modern, cohesive brand identity. If you already have some form of branding- great! I can work with this to see if we need to give it a refresh or develop this further if haven't quite worked out other aspects, such as mood, colour palette, typography and tone of voice etc.
Copywriting
Here's where we begin gathering content for your website such as your website copy and imagery. I will give you a clear idea of what kind of content you need to write to ensure we engage with your audience. I also offer a copywriting service to ensure your messaging is engaging, compelling and SEO friendly if you'd prefer not to do this yourself.
Website Design
The website is built using your brand strategy and messaging to ensure it resonates with your target audience. The outcome is a website that is thoughtfully designed and tailor-made for your business and customers' needs. Choose a website package and add on anything else you need (you can even add at a later date).
During the website build you will get plenty of opportunities to provide feedback as we go to ensure you are over the moon with everything.
Launch
Once we have everything in place and you have signed off on the website build I then get to work on the final stages including SEO, connecting your custom domain and setting up your analytics before going live. Here is where you choose your website hosting plan (if you haven't already).
The next step is then going live and submitting your site to Google, along with providing you with all your logins. You'll get ongoing email support with all websites, along with access to the knowledge base. You can also opt for my Website Support Service add-on and I can take care of looking after the website for you.

Submit a project enquiry form on my contact page providing as much information as possible. I will then get back to you with a free custom website proposal and quote.
Project begins
If you're happy to go ahead I'll send you an invoice for 50% of the project and then we can get started! This is when the 5 stage process begins (as above).

Your website needn't be set in stone.
You won't need to worry about outgrowing your website. It can easily change, adapt according to your business needs. The editor will provide you with full creative freedom, or if you'd prefer a totally hands-off approach to website maintenance and updates, I offer a website management service for just £15 per month.
